ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Entry Age

Our admission process give learners from age 7 months and above to join the day care section. All children are important and special. All applicants are given class placement test and interviewed to determine the class suitable for learners.

At the moment, admission into all classes is on-going. Applicants are to purchase application form and then undergo the placement test and interview.

Initial placement of a child is based on the results of the original assessment. However, the school reserves the right to move a child to another year or class after consulting the parents if this is in the child’s interest.

The final decision of a child’s admission to the school rests with the Proprietress.

Stated below are the age requirements for admission.

KINDERGARTEN

DAYCARE: 7 months - 3 years old

Pre-KG: 3 years - 4 years old

KG 1: 4 years - 5 years old

KG 2: 5 years - 6 years old

GRADE

GRADE 1: 6 years - 7 years old

GRADE 2: 7 years – 8 years old

GRADE 3: 8 years – 9 years old

GRADE 4: 9 years – 10 years old

GRADE 5: 10 years – 11 years old

GRADE 6: 11 years – 12 years old

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

Copy of student’s Birth Certificate
School Report Cards from Grade 1 up to the last year of the previous school
Immunizations Records (photocopy)
Health Report
Passport size photos (03)
Location of Residence
Letter from sponsor or father

UNIFORM

Learners at Asim Academy are required to wear the school uniform every day except for themed Casual Days mentioned in the Academic Calendar.

We believe that wearing a proper school uniform allows pupils to focus on learning rather than competition and creates a sense of belonging and pride.
